MA Private Wealth Welcomes Jessica Rubtsov, Operations Specialist

MA Private Wealth’s newest team member, Jessica Rubtsov, brings her diverse expertise and financial services industry knowledge to our firm. As the newly established Operations Specialist, she is eager to work with a family-oriented, boutique RIA and surround herself with genuinely caring and devoted colleagues. 

Jessica moved out to California about a decade ago, but still considers herself a Midwest girl! Born and raised in Kansas, she also spent time in Nebraska and Colorado before settling down in the Bay Area.

Jessica has a B/A in Psychology with concentration in Mathematics from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. After dabbling in a few different positions after college, she found her passion in the financial services industry. 

Reflecting about her decision to join MA Private Wealth, Jessica knew she had found the right place early on in the interview process, “Everyone I met on the MA team was so authentic. I could tell they genuinely cared about their clients and were devoted to helping them.” 

In contrast to some of her roles in the industry, Jessica says, “Our team is intentional and thoughtful in every decision. Even in stressful situations or during times of challenging market events, we follow a clear strategy to guide our decision-making. It’s so different from what I’m used to, but I am so grateful for it!”

As Operations Specialist, Jessica will be working primarily on the firm’s back-end: reviewing, evaluating, and enhancing our processes, platforms, and workflows essential for business operations. 

One of her key responsibilities will be assisting with MA Private Wealth’s unique level of customization for its clients’ investment accounts. As part of our sophisticated approach to wealth management, we review each investment account, down to the household and account levels, and make tactical adjustments as needed on a quarterly or ad-hoc basis. Jessica will be building reports for advisors, ensuring trade and data accuracy, and developing organizational systems to bolster this service. With 12 years of accounting and reporting experience, Jessica has a keen eye for the details and expects this to help her in her role.

Jessica believes she will thrive at MA Private Wealth stating, “I truly appreciate being able to work with such wonderful people”. The firm’s calming nature helps Jessica remember why she got into this industry – to truly help people find peace of mind with their finances. One of her strengths is her can-do attitude, even in times of adversity, stating “Generally, there’s always a solution to every problem. We just have to find it.”

Jessica recently married her spouse, Evgeny, in 2021 and settled down in Oakland, CA with their Goldendoodle Misha, who is expecting a canine sibling early next year.

Outside of work, Jessica and Evgeny enjoy exploring the Bay Area hiking trails or hitting the Rocky Mountain slopes in Colorado. At some point, they would love to teach their dog Misha how to ski with them!
